This is sort of a feeler/longshot. I bought a new truck and I figure if anyone would want my old truck it would be NEHA.
1995 Mitsubishi Montero comes with receiver hitch and 4 pin plug for trailer.
Everything works (sort of) THE GOOD:
New tires (snows)
New Brakes in rear 1 year old fronts
New Front CV boots
Fluids all fresh
Inspection items are all good
4wd works. It has a locking center and rear diff.
AC is ICY cold.
Newish battery
New fan and belts
plugs last year
Fresh timing belt, water pump and pulleys this winter.
Truck makes good power still.
Bad-
It was basically corrosion free when it came to me two years ago. Now the underbody is showing some signs of rusting
One window motor doesn't work
Sunroof leaks in the heaviest driving rain
Torque Converter is contanimated so there's a resonance at 60 but it goes down at 70mph
Lots of quirky crap- radio takes a min to come on
Valve seals not great. In hot weather if it idles a while it smokes.
It's a good truck to park and drive to an event. Tows well and doesnt' cost much to insure.
Looking for $1200 bucks for it. If I can't get that I'll prob keep it as a plow truck. Consider this a feeler.
