Formula Vee
Friend just bought a formula vee and saw that it is classes as P3. Anybody know if anything needs to be done to run a hillclimb with it?

Re: Formula Vee
Read the roll cage requirements in the technical requirements pages of the web site. Right off the bat I can see the Vee rollover protection doesnt meet this: "All Roll cages must have horizontal and vertical bars above, ahead, behind, and to the sides of the plane of the drivers’ helmet."
The older I get the better I was.

Re: Formula Vee
I found out years ago that some FV frames were brazed not welded, like the Autodynamics (Caldwell) D13 cars, There are still quite a few of these around the NE. That can raise issues when welding on a roll cage if you are attaching near an existing tube intersection.
