tubing size

Post by dsldubn »

Question: Can different sizes of tubing be used in a cage as long as all pieces are sized correctly, according to minimum size per the tech rules? For instance, say a main hoop/roll bar is a larger diameter than required, could other pieces of the cage be small diameter if they still met the requirements?

I believe that any additional non-required pieces to the cage can be under the minimum spec diameter, for the weight of the vehicle.
