Here is the schedule for the event... For those of you who have already sent in your dinner choices, can't wait to see you. For those of you who may not have planned on coming, but have changed your minds, there is still room. Just let me know. For those who can't make it, you will be missed!!!
2:00 p.m. Rules Meeting in the Woven Label Boardroom (soft drinks and cheese table will be set up for this meeting)
5:00 p.m. Cash bar will open in the Sugar River Ballroom
6:00 p.m. Plated dinner will be served in the Sugar River Ballroom
Awards presentations will begin following dinner
Flat screen TV and DVD player will be available if folks want to bring their racing dvds to share.
Cash bar will be open until 11:00 p.m.
It is my understanding that the restaurant bar also closes at 11:00 p.m. Some New Hampshire law about restaurants not being able to serve alcohol later than that.
Hope to see you all this weekend!
Michele

Re: NEHA: 2011 Season Awards Banquet/2012 Rules Meeting
Big thanks for Michele and Sherman (unsure who else) for putting together a great banquet. Trophies and t-shirts look great. I had a great time. Thanks to Howard for MCing the rules meeting.
If I could get the receipts (and the reason for the award) of all the awards I can update the website.
Kevin... could you get a really high quality picture of the Weizel award and e-mail it to me (big hi-res image is best) so that I can post a good picture of it. I'm unsure if I got a good picture (especially without the tape that was covering the recipient's name prior to presentation).
Thanks
Steve

Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

That was a 2:46 for Meluish.

I'm sure he would like 1:46 much better.... obviously, he would have to find a couple worm holes along the way (pretty sure corner 19 and 29 are involved some how)

He needs to talk to Bill Rutan. I'm pretty sure Danny's car had a wormhole generator. The tricky part is faking the in car video so it doesn't appear that you jumped from one check point to another.
But we do have witnesses. You know how in scifi movies the ship turns into a streak of light disappearing into the distance when it jumps into hyperspace. Several people have seen Danny's car do just that.
