24 hours of lemons

Post by RichVS »

In case you've never heard of it, which means you don't own a computer and have no sense of humor, you all should check it out. We just got back from Reno and I'm hopping up and down with elation over what a blast we had.

Stafford is coming up in July. I'd make sure to hang out by the penalty pit for a while. This is the only form of motorsport where an aggressive driver will be (literally) tarred and feathered or a whiner forced to eat baby food.

A good time was had by all, even the flagman, who after having 102 teams of knuckleheads doing everything wrong on his track, threatened the promoter if we don't come back next year.

shameless self promotion: we placed 20th in a truck we built in about 8 weeks. http://web.me.com/bfreehill/Site/the_LeMons_Truck.html

Oh, and if anyone is headed out for Pikes Peak, look me up, I can at least contribute a place to crash before you head down to Colorado Springs.
best!

Very cool. We have a number of member teams from the SCCV going to this locally (I assume the event in CT).
