Mailed mine today! This will be my first event!

My only issue is my helmet, but I am hoping to borrow one.

Good event. Weather was great (was it Earl or Victor that was in charge of the weather?). Drivers and some unforeseen technical issues caused only two runs on Saturday, but we did get 4 on Sunday. Thanks to all WORKERS and the organizers that helped make this event a success.

I had a ton of fun. The weather was perfect. Thanks to Alex, Nick, and Bill from DSG for letting me raid there service truck for spare hoses. Finally being able to make a clean run in that car was a uplifting experience. I am still having cooling issue's so there will be some new speed holes in the front bumper next event to get some more air flowing in there. Cant wait! Who has pictures !!! Post them up!

how quickly are results usually posted? I was wondering if Earl or Rob happened to beat me on either of their final 2 runs.

I am also sorry about the delay on Saturday. I think I got a little too excited on that first run...

Big thanks to everyone who made the event happen and to everyone who lent a hand and some tools to repair my bent strut.

I had a great time and am looking forward to Okemo 2.

Even number 5 had to be pulled out of the ditch on Saturday. Great event. Lots of fun. It will be better next year when we don't allow any all wheel drive or turbo cars.

HE"S KIDDING FOLKS!--Its just the AWD turbo subbies we're banning.

Short version of the weekend:
60 entries
at least 15 newbies -Thanks Alex + Joey! (none of which went off! :D )
2 runs Sat.-5? wrecker rolls-soggy ground made every off a stuck car.
Club meeting cuting number of entries to 55 because we could never get 3 runs in with 60 cars.
Fire + brimstone speech from the club prez (who was one of only two opposed to the limit.)
Sun-1st car rolls at 8:10 am-run to 4:45--FOUR runs!
FTD changed place between 3 cars-different every run
Joey pulls off an out of this world 2:14 on run 4 after his best before was a 2:18! :o
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.
