Sure-you can pay at the event.
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

That will be fine-still plenty of time before the event.

Im hoping to get number 409, saw that it wasn't reserved. I will be bringing at least one worker and I can't wait I've been trying to get a car ready that I can drive from maine and hillclimb for the past four years and it's finally working out.

I have three workers willing to come with me, as long as they can sort out reasonably-priced camping. I haven't been to Okemo, but it doesn't look like they have campsites on the hill. What are my options?

There is Camp Plymouth State Park just a little north on VT100 : http://www.vtstateparks.com/htm/plymouth.htm

The parking lot at Okemo isnt a campground and there are no facilities. KSCC supplies a couple port-a-potties in the lot. Okemo permits us to stay in the lot overnight provided we are "self-contained" (such as an RV, van, camper). A number of people do this. There is no charge. No fires are permitted. They have tended to ignore a couple small tents in the past.
The older I get the better I was.

Just sent my entry in. I also tried reserving a condo and asked for the discount and the reservation dept has no idea we are comming or about a discount. The nice woman said that the reservation dept manager would be in tomorrow and I should check back then.
