I believe we'll be running the "medium" course, that ends at the first parking turn around.
They have traditional (Erik's reference to the medium course / aka short hill), the long hill (to the top!), and the too short (honest, it has never happened before to me).

Haven't heard what they are doing yet...

At the SCCV banquet Mike Ruggiero mentioned that it will be the short hill.

The official word from SCCNH is "short"

But they have used "short" to mean to the 1st parking lot many times before. I am confused. I hope it is to the 1st lot and not stopping at the bridge.

I don't think the "check 7/bridge" finish is on the table....

Short = traditional (the parking lot)... not to be confused with the new parking lot between check 6 and 7 that keeps screwing up my lines

I somehow doubt the check7/finish "short" course will get used again. The point of it was to avoid racing on the really rough road between check7 and finish, but you had to drive over it anyway and going "slow" seemed worse (in my car) than fast-as-possible-without-getting-launched-into-the-Vermont-scenery.

Does anyone have a hotel they reccommend near the hillclimb site? Thanks!

How much are you willing to spend?

Selection in Winsdor VT is mostly better than a wet sleeping bag, but not by much. In Claremont there is the Common Man Inn...REAL nice, if a bit pricey.

I got a leanto. I don't know why I didn't connect that sooner. Derrrr.

Do you have a lot of entries so far? The date doesn't conflict with PHA events for a change, so we may be able to make it. Won't know for another week or so. Sue ( Jag)
