Since it hasn't been started yet.

Here is my off course excursion. There was no mechanical failure. Problem existed entirely between the steering wheel and seat.
Special thanks to Erik for allowing me to run the Polar Express up the hill on Sunday so I could have an official time. It takes a special kind of friend to loan out a car to someone who has just demonstrated his ability crack 'em up.

Scrappy is fixable, but I had planned to retire him at the end of the season. Needs a bit of work that isn't quite practical given his imminent retirement.

...and because I have some OCD tendencies.....
My previous good run, I maxed 74.6 mph when I started to brake for that corner. In this case I was at 81 mph when I started to brake.
Impact was measured at 1.9 g's. However the phone was attached to my rear view mirror which moved a bit with the impact, so I suspect that reading might not be accurate.

Seth. so sorry to hear of your abrupt halt of forward momentum. I see what you mean about the rust issue. Good luck with your rebuild or replacement. Also, after looking at the condition of the tarmac this weekend I was really happy I had installed my skid plate before I loaded the car for the trip.

And here we go with the onboards.
Planning on bringing a cool vest to withstand the heat in the Corvette at Okemo 2! I think the car is now completely sorted out, let's work on the driver! :)
