Excellent photos Alex. Nicely put together too.

Cold but great event. The hot food and drink at the top was really welcome as was the big crowd warming our campfire Saturday night. I still cant believe the steaks Don brought along. As usual Joan's brownies were to die for - and so were her CC cookies that were opened Sunday afternoon before the awards.

I took only one run in the morning on Sunday just to confirm what my numb feet had been telling me - it was too cold for the tires. After lunch I had a chance to run nearly back-to-back so the first run warmed up the tires and showed me where I could push it on the next run. The one last stock item in my shifter bit me on the "money" run, resulting in me nearly stopping at check 1 to get it unstuck from neutral. Such is racin'. But I was able to set a personal best Saturday. Too bad the runs Sunday ended in such spectacular fashion. Glad to hear Ryan seems to be OK. The same cant be said for his 3000GT or the tree with the tranny bits embedded in it.
The older I get the better I was.

Did anyone get photos of Ryan's car after the accident? Just curious since I never got to see the car.

Thanks guys. I had a great time until I goofed big. Thanks so much for all the help with getting the car cleaned up and I apologize for cutting Sunday short. :( Those pictures are knarly. What a lesson to take away from my first hillclimb! But with any luck I'll be back next year and I will keep all 4 on the pavement.

Ryan's tree looks a lot like a certain tree at Ascutney that I got to know up close and personal. They certainly don't give much once they get to be a certain size.

Nick is smart. He hits small trees that give.
