What's wrong with the top? Can't be any more bumpy than between CP 7 and the short Finish. The last time we ran the full hill was 2004 (IIRC). VERY fast up top. 100 mph (indicated... means I was going slower, but still very fast for the car) in my old N/A greenish Rabbit.

A seat + fire suit will fit down the chimney.....
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

Anthony did a little pre-season recon work today. He showshoed up the Ascutney road! If you are on Facebook, he has a series of photos from the trek. He's going to put them up on Photobucket as well soon. The course looks pretty clean, although we'd probably have to limit it to AWD vehicles.
