Hmmm, I could do this in one of our furnaces at work. I'd probably only charge you for materials cause it's going to take a lot of sawsall blades to get it small enough to fit in our furnaces....

Joey. Do you know of anyone else that has ever tried this? (not that it should prevent you from doing it)

I do not know of anyone in particular, but it is the only right way to normalize a cromoly cage thoroughly..

You might try the forums at grassroots motorsports, someone from around new england on there might have the answer.
I've also put a call into a buddy of mine who builds circle track cars to see if he knows anyone.

One suggestion thus far is Bodycote in Worcester Mass. No phone number given, but I'm sure you can find it.

So, I talked to Bodycote. They can do it. They have an oven that is 12'x7'x6'. The only problem is my car is 13' 6". I guess i could chop some off. or maybe build something to keep the chassis angled.. It all depends on their price...still waiting on a quote.

It might fit.

The distance from the bottom corner to the top corner of the booth would be 13.9 ft.
