Wings at ascutney

Post by sachilles »

Long story short, after the hill is setup Friday evening, my brother in law and I will be cooking up some wings for the masses. Site 37. The more the merrier. Traditional Buffalo and limited Mango habanero. Welcome to bring your own sauce if you don't care for those. If you have a second to let me know you are in, I'll have an idea how many chickens need to die.
Might want to bring your own plate/napkin/tasty beverage.
If its raining hard we might postpone it or move to place where rain won't get at the fryer.

The buffalo sauce is a medium heat, nothing crazy. The mango hab, is a bit more. For those that are curious. If you get medium at a restaurant, these will be similar. I'll bring one or two other hotter sauces for folks to enhance theirs if they feel the need. Easier to start with medium and make hotter, than the other way around. I personally prefer flavor over heat.

by the way the veggie oil is free for the taking afterwards....as I know some of you soot shooters like that stuff. Some straining may be required.

By the way if you ever get a chance, go to the national buffalo wing festival in Buffalo NY(labor day weekend). Not good for the cholesterol level....but damn good otherwise.
