Julie is fine..... once we got past her emotions. All is good. I have not looked at the Golf as I don't plan to fix it in the short term. I have too many other projects that I have been pushing off to get ready for Ascutney. I will fix it.

I was trying to figure out the Tub II last night. Still not sure what is wrong with it, but I'm replacing some wires tonight (positive off the battery is badly corroded).

Steve, has getting rid of the 1970's engine management ever crossed your mind? VEMS would be quick and easy and work very nicely in the Tub...

I have thought of that.... I'm trying it out on the turbo Cabriolet (getting together with Jason next week). I kinda want to build a new tub with the same gearing (modern transmission... perhaps 6 speed to get more top end at Okemo) and a 1.8T engine... but using the same rims/tires as the current tub. Good winter project. So, I pretty much am hoping to make the Tub run properly this summer without any investment (other than time).

They are so good that you can see the leftovers hanging underneath from the porcupine I hit saturday morning. Yum
