If anyone needs leaded race fuel, I have 11 gallons of VP C12 available. $10 per gallon. Will need to know by 11am if interested.

We had the R word and the L word (leaves) a little of the M word (mud) and at bit too much of the C work (crashes) but most people still seemed to have a good time. :D

I mean really, it could have been worse. We could have got snow.

What I really could not believe, is that when the sun finally showed up after lunch on Sunday, there were mosquitos. Thankfully, I had very little exposed skin.

Lost and Found

When cleaning up the shelter we found a black coat hanging on the wall. Please contact Nick or myself to see if it is yours and about getting it back.

Just wanted to say a quick note of thanks to everyone. I was little more sore Sunday night and yesterday morning, but I'm otherwise fine. Certainly my ego is bruised, but that will heal in time as well. Many thanks to Don and Walter for retrieving my car, I would not have guessed the cable was quite that long. Thank you Steve for driving me and what remains of my subaru to my house in Waitsfield. Thanks to the crew at check 2 and whomever else who may have hopped over the bank to chase after me. I know it is a terrible couple of minutes as you fear the worst, but hope for the best. Thank you to Speedway for checking me out. Thanks to my wife for not killing me. Thank you to everyone who asked how I was feeling, offered encouragement and a smile.
Neha is a pretty special group of folks. Though I'd rather not wreck, it's comforting to know when it does happen, everyone pulls together to reduce it's impact. I'm not entirely sure when I'll have another car to run, but it's a long off-season, much can happen. Regardless, I'll be back at the hills in one capacity or another.
Thanks everyone.
