Maybe try a fabric or craft shop like Jo-Ann's or Michael's. Worst case is you could just adhere fabric.

Re: Protect my roll cage paint....
I have seen a few rally cars come thru tech with felt or Alcantra covered dashboards. I asked some how it was attached - expecting them to say it was self-adhesive, but in the cases where they know how it was done they used spray adhesive and a rubber roller to remove air bubbles.

Re: Protect my roll cage paint....
That spray adhesive is pretty strong stuff, I have some I've used at home if you want to try it Steve.
I hesitate to admit what I used it for....but I think most will appreciate it. The rear wheel arches on my old dodge pickup rotted away. So I cut out the rust and was left with a big hole where sheet metal use to be. So I took the spray adhesive and some plastic screen from a screen door and adhere the screen to the opening. Then bondo'd up the screen. Doesn't look half bad, and has held strong.

My final answer (sorry, too much daytime TV - layoff sux)
How about leather? Hemmings has bunches of ad's for leather to match whatever, or some scraps from the local upholsterer or carved from a junkyard seat. The #77 spray glue will definitely do it for glue!
