I'm not a techy, so maybe I missed something. Are there any proposals submitted?

Regarding Don's rule proposal on roll cages- is an FIA cage considered thin wall alloy?

As I read the proposal, I would say, yes an FIA homologated cage made from T45 would be considered a "thin wall alloy". I need to speak with Don on another matter so will ask him since he seldom logs on here and may not see this.

Were any of the rule proposals passed at the meeting?

Cage rule passed AS AMENDED. Some details will be in my post in the technical section of the forum.

Head and neck restraint in 2013, 2014 passed.

Rule covering tech & rule requirement when the bikes run with KSCC passed.

so with the head and neck restraint rule...am I reading this right? ...if a caged car is running slower than the break out time, then a device would not be required, correct?

J- thats how I would interpet it. Same as firesuits (and cages) slower than the breakout + its not required.

Sherm, Who is doing the changes? I have done them for the last several years but I wasn't at the meeting and I don't have the changes. I do have the MS Word docs for the rules however. If someone else is doing the changes I can forward the docs. I'm not sure anyone else has them in doc format since I usually send them out in pdf.
