Does anyone know of a place that sells race gas in New Hampshire or elsewhere in New England?
I found this with an Internet search: http://www.newenglandracingfuel.com/contact.html. It's in Connecticut...rather far from home for me.
NHMS has the race gas pumps, but they are not typically accessible. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

The Sunoco on 94 Broad St. in Nashua, just east of the Everett Turnpike at Exit 6 carries 100 at the pump.
The older I get the better I was.

New England Motor Racing Supply
I have also found these guys close to home:
http://www.nemrs.biz/html/fuel_petroleum.htm
I talked to the owner. He can get large or small supplies of any Power Mist product. He says it's a good product - burns clean and leaves no residue with evaporation. Also has an indefinite shelf life if kept sealed.

That could be the best solution right there...walterclark wrote:The Sunoco on 94 Broad St. in Nashua, just east of the Everett Turnpike at Exit 6 carries 100 at the pump.
NH Sunoco stations with 100: http://www.sunocoinc.com/Site/Consumer/ ... pshire.htm
Thanks, Walter.
Re: Source for race gas?
We carry VP race fuel at work. Can either get you 5 gallon pails, or we sell by the gallon-usually have at least 4 flavors in 55 gal drums. I can bring some to the hills-or if you can work a deal with Max's shuttle truck, we are about 1/2 hour from his new shop. (right off rt84. in Waterbury.)
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

Freedom Cycle in Concord http://www.freedomcyclenh.com/Default.asp sells VP C12 in 5 gallon drums. C12 is leaded at about 110 octane. My motor doesn't mind leaded and I mix each gallon with three gallons of unleaded 93 which is still more than enough octane for my motor.
Re: Source for race gas?
How much for 5 gallons of C12? I think I was paying about $10 a gallon this year but I don't remember the exact price.sdwarf36 wrote:We carry VP race fuel at work. Can either get you 5 gallon pails..

Re: Source for race gas?
PowerMist works pretty well. The Dennis Clan burned thru 100+ gallons of it during the season. Don’t know of a source. I bought 2 sealed barrels from someone getting out of racing last winter.
New England Race Fuels in CT delivers all over N.E. I talked with the rep last spring and he had better pricing than local sources. I was looking at 50 gal barrel pricing delivered to my house.

This outfit is in Brookline, NH. He can order any of the Power Mist products. It's convenient for me...
Keep it in mind. I could bring over an order to the hill climb events next Summer if anybody wanted some.
(I will be missing Burke for the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal)
