Hi Everyone,

This year's NEHA end of year event will be held at the Common Man Inn in Claremont, New Hampshire. This post is to give everyone a heads up to save the date... you know you won't want to miss this... and to give you information on room rates. The Common Man has been very generous to us with the rates they are giving us for rooms. I have blocked ten rooms.. four suites and 6 regular rooms. They are suggesting that if you are going to need a room, you call as soon as possible to make your reservation. Special discount rates are available BOTH Friday night and Saturday night if you want to make a weekend of it. I will post information soon about the cost for the event other pertinent information. I hope you will all be able to come and share this very special event with your hillclimb family.

It would be great to be able to get a head count asap so we can make some decisions about which room we will need for the event, so if you could just let me know if you are planning to attendand how many will be with you for dinner and awards it would be very helpful.

They are holding ten rooms for us under KSCC. Regular rooms are $95 and suites are $139. Be sure to ask for a room with a view of the falls : ) Don't wait to book, as the rooms are going to go really fast. You have to mention KSCC to get the discount.

If you have not done so already, if you have rule change proposals for the 2012 season, they must be submitted to be by midnight tonight. There is a rules proposal thread on the forums with instructions. Reach out to me with questions.

Spoke with Michele (one L) via NEHA PM. They are trying to finalize the details. A bit of administration shuffling at the hotel's end so things are going slow.

I can honestly say that I look forward to the NEHA banquet every year. Great to see everyone from the race season in an atmosphere where they do not have to race the next day. Party on Wayne!
