Looking for something capable of towing the race car. Needs to be able to seat four adults, and have service-able air condition.
2wd is ok. Project OK, but I'd rather not deal with a rust bucket.
Ideal would be a conversion van.
Could also deal with smaller motorhome, so long as it can tow.

If by some reason you need a 5.9 95 dodge ram single cab, set up to plow, with meyer plow, willing to work a trade(It's not a gem, but is reliable). Truck has served me well, but it's not big enough to get my family to the hills.......if the family can't get the hills....I don't get to the hill. If you see something under $10k, let me know. Beer finders fee paid, if you spot the rig I buy. Willing to drive around new england and NY for the right vehicle.

racingjunk.com has just about everything you could want.

What about a cube van? (quad cab cube van?)

Probably not a cube van, but a shuttle van like Sherman's or Jimi's would likely work.

It might actually be worth giving Jimmy a call...he has, or had, more than one of those at one point...and seems to keep an eye out for them because he's picked up a couple for a local business.

also:
first would be a decent one, no rust, and those trucks aren't bad

A few thoughts from the resident bus expert- ;)
Pluses + minuses with bus ownership:
Its an open box-build what you like. you could easily build some kiddie bunks + have room for a grown up bed-and camping gear-and bicycles-and tires-etc. That bus is larger than mine. You'll outgrown a conversion van.
That bus has 2 AC's-stock system in front + one in the back. Also a rear heater.
A bus is always dryer + warmer than a tent.
Yes-it will tow no problem. Granted my car + trailer is light-but you really dont feel it there at all. The GVW is pretty high-mine is 14.5k lbs.
They are real easy to drive. MIchele likes driving ours.
They are build much better than a motorhome. ("Sticks+staples" as they are called.) Motorhomes are made to go out a few days a few times a year-buses are made to be used non-stop.
The minuses:
School buses are built even better.
All cube vans + motorhome+shuttle buses have 4.10's. You can pull hills-but kind of rev happy on the hiway. 10mpg or so.
That van has rot (Most do to some degree. ) around the wheel arches. The partial chassis delivered from ford has steel wheel arches formed. The glass body that gets installed is doesnt line up exactly with the arches-so they just fill it in with expandable foam.
 Splash from the wheels gets in there and rots the steel out. (look under the gas cap in the pic) Not a terrible fix.

Borrowed a friends 2001 f350 crew cab diesel, to tow something yesterday. I could get use to that.

That is what I have also. I enjoy towing with it.
