I'll bet that was a "clencher". Looks like they both got up and kept going.
Is the rider wearing a nylon jacket and cargo pants. Isn't motorcycle-grade body armor required?

What I gathered at the rally was that helmets, boots and chest protectors were the only required safety equipment. This was the only tarmac stage at a gravel event, so leather won't help as much as on asphalt....Not saying I wouldn't wear it anyway though...
