My thoughts exactly, 'cept I forgot to finish that part of my sentence after my "how not to" on seat mounting... For the inboard side on 2 seaters, reinforcing the vertical part of the tunnel wall and installing a ladder style frame between the frame rail (or reinforced rocker) on the outside and reinforced tunnel wall on the inside works. Very hard to pull out and it will help keep the seat from becoming much narrower when the side of the car is hit. The tunnel will collapse as the seat and frame move inboard together but thats a good thing.
The older I get the better I was.

Can't say that helmet wasn't worth every penny he paid for it. It got used hard.

Those helmet pics explain why they air-lifted a guy that turned out to have little more than a dislocated shoulder. Makes perfect sense now.

I wonder what our friends at Speedway Services think of all this.
