Flat tow....eliminates the trailer.

Anyone goes off on the fam run in their regular car is forced to ride in the daewoo while its towed as punishment.
Or it could become a team event

No offense, truck people, but with 400hp and Direzza Star Spec tires I think my tow vehicle may have the T1 Class win in the bag.

New rule clarification. Must have a tongue weight of 500lbs or greater.

Jude have you seen Larson's old tow rig, the audi? I'm thinking it could be an epic battle.

Not if I use my challenger as a tow rig. 470hp 392ci V8. :D Though I may loose out of pure inexpirience.

Great idea.

Once we announce this new class, a hitch is going to appear on Butch's Blazer and he'll be T1 class champion forever.

Actually, I think the Blazer already has a hitch receiver.

Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

:o That was great! Seen a few trucks race with NEHA but I don't remember any launching like that.
