Re: Spring Ascutney 2013
Just out of curiosity what (if any) is the established breakout time for the long course? So I know what to shoot for.

55 mph average. That should be interesting.

Just set the cruise control.Challenger392 wrote:55 mph average. That should be interesting.
When I tell people I race up mountains they always want to know how fast I go. It's so hard to explain how fast you really have to go to maintain an average speed that is slower than they drive on the highway. They just don't get it until they take a fam run. So I usually say something about hitting 120 at Okemo and that makes them happy somehow.

I tell 'em 4 - 5 times the posted speed limit.

Re: Spring Ascutney 2013
The illustration I always use is to say that several NEHA members in street legal (theoretically) cars have averaged more than 60 mph up the full length of Mt Washington.
So many people have driven it in their minivan at 11 mph that their brains melt.

Re: Spring Ascutney 2013
Just got the SCCNH notice from Howard Roundy that the registrations is open. Again they are using (Icant)Motorsportreg.com. Again the whole web site has been revamped and again it is messed up. I cant get past the member/non-member page. It has all my and my car info from last time but keeps insisting I HAVE to have a SCCNH membership number: "The membership in Sports Car Club of New Hampshire could not be matched" in the lead of an error message across the top of the page. The same message comes up even though I have tried both member and non-member options. So, I click on the "event registrar" button to send a message and the email window that pops up says SCCVermont@aol.com. Wait..What?
The older I get the better I was.

I had the same problem, and it's now fixed. Try again. Choose non-member, then your sister club(you are kssc right?).

Re: Spring Ascutney 2013
Yes, that worked. Thanks! I am a KSCC member. Does it work if someone has no club affiliation?

Re: Spring Ascutney 2013
It would have prompted you to buy a temporary membership.
