I agree with Kevin. The section after the jump you were crazy fast. I have a request... Set up the gopro so we can see you work for a run please?

That shifting stuff is overrated.Rabbit Farmer wrote:Kevin.... Could you shift next time so we know you're working really hard at your times?!?
Looks like fun to drive. I am going to purchase your car's twin for Julie.... She doesn't shift either.

Terrific event! Thanks Drew, Don and all the volunteers! Special thanks to Jeff for lunches...Great!
Still figuring out the GoPro thing. I like the camera (Hero3 Black) but I found it easier on the battery to dumb it down and just use the One Button mode. This video is from the the 1080 rez recording. This is my first run on Sunday at 4:00.55. Still tuning the engine but it seems to be strong. Also, not really pushing the corners while the new tires come in.

The older I get the better I was.

Nothing to see, just a Sunday drive.BugEyeRex wrote:I agree with Kevin. The section after the jump you were crazy fast. I have a request... Set up the gopro so we can see you work for a run please?
I need to get my own GoPro. With the video editing software I can do split times to any spot I want that are accurate to within a few hundredths. So I could see for example that I was about 2 seconds faster to the traditional finish than my previous best.

I could post some pictures-but Drew gave $50 to not.
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.

I would tend not to beleive this - I don't think Drew's public shame threshold goes much over $10.

Here is a more leisure look at the road. Sorry I couldn't stay to the end. Thanks to all for a great weekend.
