i own a DIASIO 962 . it runs in SCCA DSR or TT events like COMSCC in FP .
it's a 926 LBS car 1000 cc motor . i'm i right if it's placed in class prepared 4 ?

Technically-yes-you can run P4-if you want to beat up on 1.8 Rabbits by 1 minute. But we generally like to put a car where it would be competitive. I ran my 1000 lb 1000cc former dwarfcar in P1 for many years and won more often than not. But it would be by 1 sec-5 sec-etc--not an hour + 1/2. (The payout is the same regardless )
Translating road racing to hillclimbing:
Proper tire selection== nothing hooks up on moss or wet leaves.
Staying on the racing line==anything paved is considered good.
