I would like to express a BIG THANK YOU!!! to all the workers, volunteers, drivers, crew, State of VT, and the Co-Chairs of last weekends event. In my 40+ years of hillclimbing I've seldom had such a great group of people to work with in all aspects of the event. Believe me your enthusiasm, pleasant attitudes, and sense of fun was contageous.

Don and Vanessa did a fantastic job setting up and running the event. The lunches were outstanding, and the racing was exciting.

I hope everyone had half as much fun and enjoyment as I did.

Thanks to all ---

Drew

I'm sure I had at least half as much. After all I got to drive the Daewoo.

Thanks a lot for putting this event together. We all had a really good time, great people and great hill!
The only improvement I could suggest would be a more even split between A & B groups. We need 2 groups anyway so why not make them more even like at the other hills? This gives us time to fix the car if something happens, it would also solve traffic issues at the bottom and top of the hill, etc...

Well...the swelling in my fingers have gone down enough so I can sort of type. Note to self - take your hands off the wheel when you realize you are now a passenger.

Once again a great event! Thanks Drew (and George) for your usual excellent job running Control. Thanks Don and Vanessa for co-chairing, Jeff for 2 great lunches and a bunch of hearty volunteers for working out in the cold and damp on Saturday, then coming back Sunday anyway.

Schultzie has a pretty long list of things underneath that need to be replaced after I mixed it up with a culvert and embankment. It explains why it ran like poop and drove even funnier on the way down. I dont think I am going to be getting it back together for Philo.

Thanks to everyone that made it possible, and so much fun. I'm thrilled to give my dad a chance to see his car in this type of event and he is happy to see what a great group of people are involved.
